Week 6 of the BlogPoll Top 25 sees little change, as Alabama holds on to the top spot and the rest of the top seven falls in line. Oregon remains at No. 2, garnering three first-place votes. This week, they aren't the only team from Oregon getting some BlogPoll recognition.
Iowa Blog Black Heart Gold Pants, of resume balloting fame, threw Oregon State into the top spot this week after they defeated Arizona to move to 3-0. With wins at home over Wisconsin, and on the road over UCLA and Arizona, Oregon State has built itself an impressive Curriculum Vitae.
The Cougars made their triumphant return to the 'others receiving votes' section, despite a 51-26 loss to the Oregon Ducks. Could it have been a mistake, as happened with the vote from Kansas blog Rock Chalk Talk earlier this season? Turns out it wasnt, as Lt. Philip Nolan, of Miami blog The 7th Floor, just liked what he saw from the Cougs on Saturday, and placed them at No. 20:
Really confused by Washington state making an appearance??
Also, I’ve got a belly full of hate for UF too, but even I gotta admit 23 is low for them based off what they’ve done so far

I was impressed by what WSU did against Oregon even if it was short lived.
And I’m not totally sold on Florida yet. Tennessee is a decent team offensively, but gives up before the game is over. Their stretch of schedule coming up will be a huge measuring stick for them

The Pac-12 has five teams show up in the Top 25 in total, tied for second-most with the Big 12. The SEC leads with six teams, including five of the top 11.
