Hot Cougar Action: Wade Jacobson gets a tryout with Washington

A couple of other Cougars will get NFL tryouts, including Wade Jacobson.

We already knew Marquess Wilson was headed to Chicago and Jeff Tuel to Buffalo, but they won't be the only Cougars to get a shot in the NFL.

Offensive lineman Wade Jacobson is headed Washington for a tryout with the Redskins while Andrei Lintz will get a tryout with the New Orleans Saints. Still no word on Travis Long, who will hopefully get tryouts near training camp when he gets back to full strength.

Jacobson, an offensive lineman who played three seasons at Washington State, agreed to go to the Washington Redskins' rookie mini camp on Thursday, he confirmed Sunday. He could receive a contract as an undrafted free agent. However, he can sign with any team.

Freshman walk-on Bryce Leavitt is transferrring, which wouldn't usually be significant, but Leavitt was actually part of the rotation late in the season.
