HCA: Previewing WSU's offensive line

The ESPN Pac-12 blog's season previews moved to offensive line and it isn't pretty for WSU.

WSU Athletic Communications

Hide ya kids, hide ya wife, Ted Miller is previewing offensive lines.

As you'd probably expect, WSU landed in the "we'll see" category:

Washington State has three starters coming back, but the Cougars' line was awful last year. Perhaps the worst unit playing for a major conference team. It gave up 57 sacks, which ranked last in the nation. It led a ground game that averaged 29 yards per contest, again last in the nation. If you are looking for an A-No. 1 concern for the Cougs, this is it. Expect newcomers -- the recruiting class is strong with O-linemen -- to immediately compete for jobs.

Yeah but ... nope that pretty much sums things up.

Washington State Cougars 2013 College Football Season Preview: Tyrone's Free Pacific-12 Conference Analysis » Sports Chat Place
The Washington State Cougars were 3-9, 1-8 under Mike Leach last year. Beating Washington during the season finale sent WSU into the offseason believing they could win more than one Pacific-12 Conference game in 2013. Leach feels good about having at least three victories with a couple cupcakes in the non-conference, but the trick will be to better three wins is to best 2012's Pac- 12 fist-pumping total.
