Pac-12 Media Day: Live stream, media poll, open thread

I'll bet you can guess where the media picked the Cougs to finish!

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Pac-12 Media Day is about to get underway at Sony Studios in California, and you can follow all the "action" here as it unfolds via an embedded live stream, which you'll find at the bottom. Mike Leach is scheduled to speak first -- along with Elliott Bosch and Deone Bucannon -- at 9:15 a.m. PT.

But before we get to that, here's how the teams were predicted to finish in 2013.

NORTH DIVISION
1. Oregon (15) 145
2. Stanford (11) 139
3. Oregon State 95
4. Washington 84
5. California 47
6. Washington State 33

SOUTH DIVISION
1. UCLA (12) 135
2. Arizona State (10) 130
3. USC (4) 117
4. Arizona 76
5. Utah 60
6. Colorado 28

PAC-12 TITLE GAME CHAMPION: Oregon (14 votes)
Others receiving votes: Stanford (8), UCLA (3)

As usual, not a lot of surprises here, as the media tend to go with the flow on these sorts of things, and the least surprisey things here are the that WSU and Colorado each were picked last in their respective divisions after coming off disappointing campaigns a year ago.

I'm a little surprised Oregon and Stanford were so close, but I assume that owes mostly to the coaching change in Eugene. UCLA and ASU are close, too. It will be interesting to see if it translates into a wild year.

What do you think? Marinate on that as you watch below.
