The best images from WSU's win over Idaho

Victory pictures are the awesomest.

As befitting a game that ended with a shutout in favor of WSU, most of the great images from the Cougars' victory over Idaho are of the hard-hitting defense bringing guys to the ground.

I love the one that I picked for the cover where Vandals quarterback Joshua McCain got to make the acquaintance of a pair of Darryls -- Monroe and Paulo -- and I do not envy him in the slightest. Sort of represents the entire game for Idaho, which gave up six sacks.

Monroe actually was all over the field for the Cougars on Saturday, leading the team with 12 tackles (eight solo) with 2.5 tackles for a loss, one of those a sack. I haven't rewatched the game yet, but I'd suspect he was intimately involved in the goal line stand that kept the shutout intact.

Enjoy the photos.
