Bill Moos, Mike Leach and others will once again set out on a promotional tour around the Pacific Northwest with the return of "A Night with Cougar Football." The athletic department has four events planned this year, with stops in Spokane, the Tri-Cities, Seattle and Portland.
If you are unfamiliar, "A Night with Cougar Football" is an annual fundraising event held after National Signing Day. Leach and other members of the coaching staff will be there. They show highlights of the recent signing class and talk about each player. Moos will also be in attendance and according to the release, he will "provide updates on the Washington State University athletic programs and facility projects, including the Football Operations Building."
Dinner and a silent auction are also part of the festivities, which will be hosted by Cindy Brunson. Ticket prices vary depending on which event you attend. In Seattle, tickets cost $120 for Cougar Athletic Fund members and $140 for non-members. Or, you could spring for a 10-person sponsored table for $1500. You'll be joined by a "WSU celebrity" and receive a few other perks. Tickets to the Spokane event for CAF members cost $35. All net proceeds help fund the cost of scholarships and other athletic support.
