WSU's annual spring Crimson and Gray game kicks off today at 1 p.m. PDT from Joe Albi stadium Spokane, and it will be broadcast on Pac-12 Networks and streamed online at Pac-12.com.

The game is scheduled to be an actual scrimmage with traditional scoring, and the clock will follow normal game procedures in the first half. It will be a running clock in the second half.

Mark covered the rosters and projected depth chart yesterday, but for convenience sake, here it is again. Remember, this is just our best guess at the depth chart based on WSU's rosters:

If you look closely, you'll see that it appears that the first team skill players have been put together on Crimson with the second team skill players put together on Gray. The offensive lines and defenses appear to be somewhat evenly split. (Although I don't think it's an accident that weaker defensive line is on Gray, so that Halliday has enough time to throw behind a piecemeal offensive line.) Expect Crimson to score a lot of points today.

Andy covered some of the things he'll be looking for today. Here's one of them:

Center play

Much of the improvement of the 2013 Cougar offensive line was the result of the solid play of Elliot Bosch at center. With Bosch graduating, the reported competition for center is between #64 Sam Flor, a redshirt sophomore, and #58 Riley Sorenson, a true sophomore. Flor will be playing for the Crimson team snapping to Halliday, while Sorensen will be on the Gray team and is listed at right guard. Redshirt freshamn #68 Carlos Freeman was listed as the center for the gray team. Regardless of who is giving the snaps on either team, the play from the center spot will be something I have my eye on Saturday.

I might also add that you'd do well to keep an eye on the H receivers today - typically, that's the guy lined up to the direct left of the offensive line when there are two receivers on each side. As Brian showed us earlier this week, the H position has been one that has significantly underproduced in Mike Leach's two seasons in Pullman. If Robert Lewis is in that spot today, there's some serious explosive potential there.

And, of course, some injuries potentially keeping players out:

That's what we've got. Feel free to discuss the game as it unfolds below!
