This is what happens when Snoop Dogg comes to Pullman

WSU football players, including Connor Halliday, ended up backstage with one of the icons of music, and they've got the pictures on his Instagram to prove it.

Steven Bisig-USA TODAY Sports

Saturday was a pretty good day for the WSU football players. They traveled north to Spokane for the annual Crimson and Gray game before returning to Pullman to take part in Springfest, which was headlined this year by Snoop Dogg.

Guess who got to hang out back stage with the star of the show?

The captions don't show up on the embedded photos, but the first one says, "Syfl products. !! At the Washington state show. Proud coach n league owner !! God is good !!" while the second one says, "Syfl product mr Allison !!! Demos n Dorsey high graduate."

SYFL, of course, would be the Snoop Youth Football League. (This is a real thing!)

I don't recognize all the players in the top photo, but it's not too hard to spot the one kid who for sure was not an SYFL product; that would be Spokane kid and starting WSU quarterback Connor Halliday doing ... well, I don't know what with his hand. The bottom photo would be of Buck linebacker Jeremiah Allison.

Pretty cool experience. But I think I speak for everyone when I say that I hope they stayed off the tour bus, lest anyone put their eligibility in jeopardy.
