The Washington State Cougars continue to hang around in the polls, holding tight at No. 15 in the AP and No. 16 in the Coaches Poll. Washington State took care of business on Saturday night, shutting out Colorado in a driving rain in Pullman, 28-0. Despite the easy win, though, Washington State didn’t move much in the polls — the rest of the week was mostly chalk.

Washington State is the second-highest ranked Pac-12 team, coming in a few spots behind Washington. The Huskies are 12th in the AP Poll and 11th in the Coaches after sitting idle this week. Stanford is 20th in both polls and comes to Pullman in two weeks in a matchup that’s shaping up to be massive. USC, which was blown out of the playoff picture by Notre Dame is 21st in both polls.

This is the last week without playoff rankings, which will be released a week from this coming Tuesday.
