Pac-12 Media Day has come to a close, and boy was it full of important news!
OK, it was not full of important news — these things usually aren’t. But there were a few noteworthy topics for discussion, including the preseason poll in which the Washington State Cougars were picked to finish 4th in the North, Mike Leach sound bites, Chris Petersen being his usual hypocritical self, and Larry Scott’s state of the conference address.
Show rundown:
- Beer: We recorded this as Pac-12 media day was winding down, which means it’s day drinking time! Jeff grabbed a grisette from Crux Brewing, while Craig went for an IPA from Foam Brewers.
- WSU (11:00ish): Media day was full of the usual meaningless nonsense. We talk about all the WSU related stuff anyway, including Liam Ryan’s mullet and whether 4th place is too low for the Cougs in the preseason poll. (It is.)
- Pac-12 (46:00ish): There was other nonsense, ranging from Chris Petersen decrying the transfer portal (despite having a transfer QB) to Larry Scott’s usual baloney about money. Also, we break down the officiating changes in the conference.
Fair warning — we do use naughty words from time to time.
You’ll probably hate it. We don’t care.
