FOOTBALL IS BACK! OK, only kind of. The Washington State Cougars start fall camp today, and even though they won’t play a game for another four weeks, and news is probably only going to trickle out over that time, we’re still excited to talk about it.
There are plenty of noteworthy things to discuss. Let’s get to it.
- Beer: It’s national IPA day! Let’s drink a couple of IPAs! One from Wayfinder Beer, the other from Toppling Goliath.
- WSU (18:00ish): The coaches poll came out, and WSU debuts at No. 21. A lot of people think preseason polls are meaningless, but we beg to differ. Additionally, the Cougs are heading down to Lewiston, and Mike Leach had some thoughts about that. (Quick correction: In the podcast we said they’re only down there for four days. It’s actually six. Sorry!) Finally, the Cougs landed a WR someone thought was a four-star recruit. That’s cool!
- Nonsense (1:10:00ish): Kids and cat piss and poo and siblings. (Not all at the same time.)
Fair warning — we do use naughty words from time to time.
You’ll probably hate it. We don’t care.
(But if you do like it, please leave us a five-star review — it helps other people find the podcast.)
