WSU vs. Auburn to be on ESPNU, as scheduled

A weather delay in BYU-Virginia created a scheduling conflict on the network.

Shanna Lockwood-USA TODAY Sports

If you're tuning into ESPNU right now to watch WSU take on the Auburn Tigers and you're a bit disconcerted by the appearance of BYU-Virginia still in the second quarter - don't be. The network will be switching over to WSU-Auburn at 4 p.m. PDT, as scheduled.

There has been some pretty odd weather traveling through the south this weekend, with lightning causing BYU-Virginia to be delayed by more than two hours. But Dari Nowkhah, who is hosting the studio show on ESPNU today, said ESPN will handle the conflict by switching to WSU-Auburn in the majority of the country:

This is obviously is great news for WSU fans who are eager to see their first glimpses of the Cougs in their second season under Mike Leach -- unless you live in Utah or Virginia. Mormons across the country, however? They're not going to be happy.
