WSU picks up commitment from offensive lineman Dylan Mayginnes

The three-star prospect will join his brother, Hunter, as a Coug.

The Washington State Cougars picked up their second offensive line commit and third commit overall in the 2020 class when Dylan Mayginnes committed to the program via Twitter:

Mayginnes is a low three-star prospect out of Chandler, Arizona, who has no other reported offers but didn’t feel the need to wait around for others to come. Other programs sniffing around include the Arizona Wildcats, Arizona State Sun Devils, California Golden Bears, UCLA Bruins and Washington Huskies.

Mayginnes’ older brother is Hunter Mayginnes, a redshirt freshman on team who joined WSU last fall as a blueshirt after a rocky recruitment that involved ASU revoking his scholarship offer. The younger Mayginnes obviously didn’t want to wait around and play that game after big bro’s journey.

Dylan fits the mold of offensive linemen recruited by Mason Miller, in his second year in charge of that group at WSU — at 6-foot-5 and 285 pounds, he has a big frame that will lend itself to adding weight rather than shedding it.

Hunter and Dylan also will join a long list of brothers to play at WSU.

Here are his junior season highlights:

And here’s how the class now stands:
