Charity Raffle: Win tickets + hotel + parking for WSU’s homecoming game

Both the Cougs and Utes are faced with tricky quarterback situations this week. Utah saw its former starter Charlie Brewer transfer out after just three games with the program. Now, Cameron Rising is expected to be the quarterback after throwing three touchdown passes in an overtime loss to San Diego State last week.

WSU’s starter is more of a mystery. Jarret Guarantano took the first snap of the season against Utah State before suffering an apparent injury and was then replaced by Jayden de Laura. He started the next two games before suffering an injury against USC. Now, Guarantano and Cammon Cooper are vying for the starting job against Utah, and maybe de Laura will play.

They say if you have two quarterbacks then you have none. What if you have three quarterbacks? Whoever gets the start will be tested by a tough Utah defense. Read my preview of the game for more on how the Utes have limited teams in the passing game.

Both teams are 1-2 after disappointing starts to the season and in desperate need of a redemption win. Utah has had the edge in the last two seasons. Can WSU pull the upset? Well, let me show you just how to watch and find out.
