WSU vs. ASU: Previewing the game with Yogi Roth of Pac-12 Networks

Sometimes we get a little insular in our coverage of the team. So we brought in an outside expert: Yogi Roth of the Pac-12 Networks, who will be on the sideline in Tempe on Saturday for WSU's matchup with Arizona State.

If you don't know much about Roth, he was a wide receiver at Pitt before coming out to Southern California, where he worked as a member of Pete Carroll's staff at USC, first as a video manager, then as a graduate assistant quarterbacks coach. He's since moved on to (mostly) a career in broadcasting (you can check out all of the stuff he does at his website). In addition to his work with Pac-12 (which includes this cool Xs and Os work at Pac-12.com), he's also the host and analyst of ESPN's Elite 11.

Oh, and he co-wrote "Win Forever" with Pete Carroll -- just a little book that reached No. 7 on the New York Times best seller list. No big deal.

In this 30-minute Google+ Hangout, we touch on a number of topics, starting with the ever-present Marquess Wilson saga, how he thinks Mike Leach is handling all of this, what he sees as the direction of the program, and whether Connor Halliday and Tyler Bruggman are destined for stardom in the Air Raid. You're going to want to hear what he thinks about whether Halliday's issues can be coached out of him.

Give it a watch. Once you get past our brief technical difficulties at the beginning, I think you'll enjoy it. And don't forget, you can subscribe to all of our YouTube videos here.
