Coming off of last week's near miss against Stanford, WSU fans like their chances today against Arizona State, which is coming off back-to-back losses.
Las Vegas initially disagreed with that, opening the Sun Devils at -1. That almost immediately switched in the Cougars' favor, as WSU has been favored by 2 or 2.5 for the vast majority of the week as two thirds of the spread money has come in on the Cougs. Interestingly, the vast majority of the bets on the money line have been in favor of the Sun Devils.
Put it all together, and the betting public is clearly forecasting a tight game. (Oh, and they also think it will be a high-scoring affair, as three quarters of bets have come in over the 68-point total.)
