WSU reveals uniform combo vs. ASU

COLLEGE FOOTBALL: SEP 21 Washington State at USC

In the surest sign yet that we’re about to — mercifully — get back to actual football, the Washington State Cougars revealed their uniform combination on Wednesday in advance of their road matchup with the Arizona State Sun Devils:

The Cougars have not worn white/white/anthracite yet this season — in fact, this is the first time they’ve broken out the white helmets. But they did wear it once last season: at the USC Trojans. That game ... didn’t go great, but it is a really good looking combination! It’s also easy on the people who do the laundry, since those pants won’t be getting endless grass stains on them at Sun Devil Stadium.

This is the sixth different combination in six games for the Cougars, who head to Tempe looking to break a two-game losing streak at a place where they haven’t had a lot of success over the years.
