A lot of things have not gone right this year for the Washington State Cougars, but they have a chance to at least secure a fifth consecutive bowl game with a win over the Oregon State Beavers — which would also mean a fifth consecutive non-losing season, something that hasn’t happened since Babe Hollinbery was the coach in the 1920s and ’30s.
Vegas says the Cougars are big favorites — WSU is giving 10.5 points — but I think we all know better than to consider this an automatic win. When combined with WSU’s particular issues, the Beavers are actually a little bit terrifying.
