The Washington State Cougars will try to deliver a win in the final home game for their seniors when they host the Oregon State Beavers on Saturday night. Both teams are at 5-5 and fighting for bowl eligibility.

It is expected to be a high-scoring battle that pits two potent offenses against two bad defenses. The Beavers have taken a major step forward in 2019, and provide plenty to worry about for WSU.

WSU quarterback Anthony Gordon is within range of setting the single-season Pac-12 passing touchdown record. He currently sits at 39, with the high-water mark held by Washington’s Jake Browning and Cal’s Jared Goff. Gordon might need those five record-setting touchdowns to outscore Oregon State.

Gordon is one of many seniors that will be honored before the game. Senior Days are always emotional, but this one will be even moreso as WSU will be honoring the late Tyler Hilinksi and his family.
