VIDEO: Oregon defensive coordinator Nick Aliotti is mad at Mike Leach for trying

In case the quotes weren't enough, check out Oregon DC Nick Aliotti getting mad about WSU throwing the ball in the fourth quarter.

In some of the strangest postgame comments you will ever see, Oregon Ducks defensive coordinator Nick Aliotti said Washington State head coach Mike Leach had "no class" for calling pass plays at the end of a 62-38 blowout loss for the Cougars in Eugene on Saturday night. Aliotti apparently took exception because WSU was trying against what he called Oregon's scout team.

The real reason for these comments is pretty clear: East coast pollsters were going to wake up and see Oregon beat poorly-regarded WSU by "only" 24 points while giving up a Pac-12 record for passing yards to Connor Halliday. Aliotti instead made the story about himself and his weird comments by making sure the world knows the Cougs were still trying to play football at the end of the game.

For Aliotti's comments transcribed (and some discussion on the matter), be sure to check out Mark's HCA post this morning. It should be a welcome distraction from the Cougs' third Pac-12 loss of the season, all of which have come in blowout fashion.
